An unusual early Victorian Staffordshire figure of a man sitting in an elaborate rococo style armchair, sparsely decorated with overglaze enamels.
* This figure is recorded with a companion, each with a colourful bird perched on one wrist, it appears that this figure lost it’s bird during manufacture (along with a few ‘firing’ faults) and was subsequently cheaply coloured and sold off.
