A scarce early 19th century Staffordshire pottery model of a ‘Circus Lion’, wearing a harness for drawing a chariot and standing on a mound base, before floral & leaf bocage.
Pearlware decorated with overglaze enamel colours.
Date: circa 1830
Height : 5½” (14cm)
Condition : Minor restoration to some leaf tips (pre restoration photos included in gallery images, multiple photo with green border)
