Description
‘A Flat Cow Goes Into a Byre….’ sounds like the beginning of one of my bad jokes!
But no, It’s a very unusual and extremely cute Staffordshire press moulded relief of a cow standing in a small barn with a green roof and applied foliage.
Staffordshire, England, circa 1840
Height: 3” (7.5cm)
Condition: Chips & wear, no restoration.
*In 45 years of dealing in early Staffordshire animals I have only seen one of these before.
