Description
A very unusual early 19th century British pottery pastille burner in the form of a two-piece square cottage with thatched roof, decorated with moulded and applied flowers, ‘melon’ shape feet and an urn finial between the chimney’s.
Staffordshire/’North Country’ or possibly Scottish.
Date: circa 1830
Height : 5ΒΌ” (13.4cm)
Condition : Well restored crack/break across roof, finial re-attached, minor chips & abrasions.
