Description
An unusually decorated early 19th century English porcelain two handled vase, with bat printed Moths and hand painted flowers and foliage and rich gilding.
Attributed to Coalport.
Date: circa 1810
Height : 9½” (24cm)
Condition : Small rim chip filled, original firing chip glazed and gilded (see photos) The base is a ‘marriage’ probably from the same factory but for a different shape vase, it matches the gilding and displays quite well.
