C19th Staffordshire pottery large ‘Puzzle Jug’ with syphon tube and vent to base, decorated with Adam Buck style ‘Regency’ figures of a woman and child, moulded in high relief and coloured with enamels.
Printed mark to underside of base.
Date: circa 1860
Height : 8½” (21.5cm)
Condition : Crack from the rim, near handle, stress crack to underside of base and a small ‘star crack’. No restoration.
