A good quality late 18th century Staffordshire pottery, square base figure of a girl with a broom, holding a coin in her left hand, depicting the parable of ‘The Lost Piece Found’
Pearlware decorated with overglaze enamel colours.
* An excellent example of how the tiny amount of cobalt blue added to ‘pearl’ glaze enhances the modelling and detail.
Date: circa 1790-1800
Height : 9¾” (25cm)
Condition : Overall condition is good, just some old restoration to the broom handle and tiny losses to the ‘coin’.
