Description
A good quality and very dainty Staffordshire pottery figure of a boy travelling to market, he has dropped a basket of eggs and a rabbit is escaping from his backpack.
Pearlware decorated with overglaze enamel colours.
Date: circa 1810-15
Height : 5½” (14cm)
Condition : Good overall condition, a few small chips: hat, corner of base etc & some tiny flakes of black enamel on his boots (see photos)
No restoration at all.
