Description
A very scarce early 19th century Staffordshire pearlware figure of ‘Douglas’ portrayed as a bagpipe playing street busker with a wooden ‘peg’ leg.
It is unusual to see this figure without enamel decoration.
Circa: 1825
Height: 7″ (18cm)
Condition: A little restoration to part of bagpipes, part of one feather on the hat and the tip of his peg leg.
