Description

Early 19th century Stafordshire pottery figure of a Shepherdess playing a lute, on a raised base with scroll moulding picked out in blue enamel, a lamb standing at her side.
* This model is a direct copy of a Derby porcelain figure produced during the second half of the 18th century.
Circa : 1825
Height : 6½” (16.5cm)
Condition:  Restoration to the end of the lute only. Various small chips and losses to some of the leaves, some enamel flaking & wear.
