Staffordshire Figure Group – Harvesters.

Description

Late 18th century Staffordshire pottery double figure group of male and female harvesters, sitting on a high, rocky mound base with bocage.
Stepped square base with brown line.
Pearlware decorated with overglaze enamel colours.
Attributed to Enoch Wood, Burslem, Staffordshire.
Date: circa 1790-1800
Height : 10½” (26.5cm)
Condition : Overall condition is good, the girl’s left hand and rake handle have been replaced (not very well) the boy’s sickle is missing, there is one small repair on the bocage.
