Description
Two good quality, late 18th century Staffordshire pottery busts depicting François-Marie Arouet Voltaire) 1694-1778 and Jean-Jacques Rousseau 1712-1778.
The busts are set on circular socles and decorated with a simulated marble finish.
Height: 6¼” (15.5cm)
Condition: Voltaire is in good condition with just a few spots of flaked enamel touched in, Rousseau has extensive repair to the lower part of the socle.
