A good quality 18th century Staffordshire pottery large model of a recumbent Ram.
Earthenware decorated with Ralph Wood type coloured glazes.
* Note the unglazed ‘dry’ interior to the base, a feature of early coloured glaze figures, the figure is ‘painted’ with glazes, not ‘dipped’.

Length : 7¼” (18.5cm)
Condition : Excellent original condition, a few tiny chips, no restoration.
