Late 18th or early 19th century Staffordshire pottery jug with relief moulded decoration of a man smoking a pipe, his horse tethered to a tree beside him, the reverse with a man holding a mug of beer. The decoration picked out in typical ‘Pratt’ type underglaze colours and unusually some overglaze enamel colour.
Circa : 1800
Height : 6″ (15.2cm)
Condition: Old restoration to extended body cracks from the rim, hairline to the handle.
