19th century Paris hard paste porcelain flared vase with moulded rim & base, decorated with a hand painted panel of a man riding a horse, against a ground pattern of scattered flowers and green and gilt scrolling reserves.
With pierced lid.
Underglaze blue initials ‘J.P.’ for Jacob Petit.
Date: circa 1840
