A good quality (matched?) pair of early 19th century Staffordshire pottery small figures of ‘The Welch Tailor & Wife Riding Goats’.
Pearlware decorated with overglaze enamel colours.
After the original models by Derby.
Date: circa 1830
Height: 5¼” (13.3cm)
Condition: Minor restoration to : mans neck, 2 horns and a crack to the base of one figure.

AD Comment: I have suggested that they might be a matched pair because there is a slight difference in height and minor differences in the enamel colours on the bases.
