Description
A near* pair of early Staffordshire pottery small figures of boy and girl carrying Pheasants, standing on scroll moulded mound bases with square plinths. Pearlware decorated with hugh temperature underglaze ‘Pratt’ type colours.
* one base has a brown line & scrolling, the other blue, that is the only variation between them.
Circa : 1800
Height : 5⅞” (15cm)
Condition: Boy: Small chip to nose, old repair to toe of right foot, Girl: small chips, mostly around the base, no restoration.
