An attractive pair of early 19th Staffordshire pottery figures of a gardener & companion, titled ‘EARTH & WATER’ .
Pearlware boldly decorated with overglaze enamel colours.
Date: circa 1825
Height : 8″ (20cm)
Condition : Earth: Some good restoration to his neck, right arm break and top handle of spade. Water: Tiny restoration to finger chips only. Both figures have minor unrestored chips on the bases.
