Pair of early 19th century Staffordshire pottery figures of a Girl with a Lamb and Boy with a Dog, standing on square plinth bases with relief moulded Acanthus leaves.
Pearlware decorated with overglaze enamel colours. * There are minor differences in the colouring of this pair, the brown splashes on the boy’s base are slightly darker than the girl’s.
Date: circa 1810
Height : 8” (20cm)
Condition :Some minor restoration: Girl: Chip to fingers on right hand and a few chips to the base. Boy: Chip to nose, dog’s right paw and a few chips to the base.
