Description

An attractive (*very near) pair of early 19th century Spode two handled [‘Beaded New Shape Jar’**]  vases, decorated with pattern number ‘967’ in bright ‘English Imari’ style.
Marked: ‘Spode 967‘ painted in red.
Date: circa 1810
Height : 6⅛” (15.5cm)
Condition : Very good, no damage or restoration, just a small amount of gilding wear from handling.

* Minor variations in size and very slight difference in the colour of the glaze, only noticable on the bases.
