Description

A colourful pair of early 19th century Derby porcelain figures of musicians, standing on raised bases with elaborate scroll moulding.
Incised model number:  ‘No 311’
Date: circa 1830
Height : 8½” (21.5cm)
Condition : Male: Minor restoration to pipe, drumstick and part of feather and the scroll at left side of base and a chip at centre front of base (the base repairs are fairly old and the gilt has discoloured). Some losses to flowers etc.
Female: Minor restoration to triangle, part of feather, some flowers .
