A pair of 18th century Derby porcelain figures of shepherd & shepherdess musicians, he playing bagpipes and his companion playing a lute, set on scroll moulded bases with elaborate bocage.
Date: circa 1780
Height : 8″ (20cm)
Condition : The figures are in excellent condition with just small losses to the feathers on their hats, both are missing their candle sconce and there are losses to the bocage, the girl is missing a piece of scrolling from the side of the base. There is NO restoration at all, so you can clearly see the condition in the photographs.
