A very decorative pair of early 19th century Coalport porcelain plates, decorated with hand painted scenes from Shakespeare, titled ‘Juliet’ and ‘Ferdinand & Miranda’ , within borders of hand painted flowers and gilding.
Coaport porcelain, probably decorated at an ‘outside’ decorating studio.
Date: circa 1810
Diameter : 8″ (20.3cm)
Condition : Very good, just a tiny rim chip has been restored on one plate.
