Pair of 19th century French porcelain Ornithological plates, hand painted and inscribed in black to the reverse:
‘Le Rossignot de muraille’ and ‘Pie Grièche Rousse’
Date: circa 1820
Diameter : 8⅜” (21.3cm)
Condition : Star cracks to centre of each plate. Surface wear and wear to gilding. Chip to footrim of one plate. No restoration.
