A good quality pair of Chelsea-Derby period figures of seated Shepherd & Shepherdess, he playing bagpipes, his companion is playing a lute. One scroll moulded raised bases with small tufts of bocage.
Incised model numbers ‘ No 301‘ & ‘size 2‘
Date: circa 1785-90
Height : 7″ (17.7cm)
Condition : Overall condition is pretty good, some minor restoration to: feathers, leaf tips and some flowers. Slight losses to gilding on one base.
