Pair of C18th Bow Figures – New Dancers

Description

Pair of 18th century Bow porcelain figures of ‘New Dancers’ standing on mound bases with moulded scrolls picked out in puce.
‘Anchor & Dagger’ marks, painted in red.
Date: circa 1758-60
Height :  6½” (16.5cm)
Condition : Some good restoration to: girl’s hands and right arm, boy’s right index finger, brim of hat & feather.
*original firing blemish on her skirt, painted over with flowers (see photos)
** there are slight differences in the way that the bases are painted but the flowers are very similar.
