Pair of Antique Derby Porcelain Bough Pots, c1820-25

Description

A very decorative *PAIR of early 19th century Derby (Robert Bloor period) bombé shape bough pots with scroll moulded handles & feet, decorated with hand painted rectangular panels of figures in rural scenes and gilding.
*painting of the panels is attributed to William Dixon.
Circular Bloor Derby marks in red.
Circa : 1820-25
Height: 4″ (10cm)
Length: 7½” (19cm)
Condition: There is a restored break to each lid.  No restoration to the pots. Light crazing to glaze and minor wear to gilding from use.
