Description
A large and very striking Bloor Derby figure of FAME, standing on a raised base with simulated billowing clouds above finely gilded scroll moulding, blowing a long metal trumpet.
Incised model number ‘No 302’
Painted crown mark in red.
Date: circa 1825-30
Height of figure (without trumpet) : 12″ (30.5cm)
Condition : A little good restoration to re-attach one wing , the right arm, a couple of fingers and two thumbs.
