A large and decorative early 19th century Derby porcelain figure group depicting ‘Jason & Medea at the Altar of Diana’.
Incised model number ‘No 37’
Date: circa 1810
Height : 11ΒΌ” (28.5cm)
Condition : Some old damages and restoration:
Jason: Left forearm.
Medea: Right forearm.
Diana: Right forearm, reattached to base, neck break, part of quiver reattached, small loss to bow.
Various tiny losses to stags antlers etc.
Original firing/stress crack to underside of base.
