Three C18th Derby seated figures on elaborate scroll moulded bases, a girl holding a basket of grapes, a young man holding a bird, a gun and his dog on the base beside his feet & a young man holding a garland of flowers . Emblematic of Autumn, Winter & Spring
Date: c 1775
Height : 5″ (12.5cm)
Condition : Girl (Autumn): Restoration to neck & right wrist, basket handle is missing, part of bocage re-attached. Typical chips & losses to foliage.
Boy (Winter): Old restoration (replacement) right hand & powder flask, fingers of left hand, part of gun barrel and part of bocage. Typical chips & losses to leaves and berries. Boy (Spring) Small chips & losses to flowers & leaves, bocage is missing on one side (close examination reveals that the bocage was missing during manufacture and was glazed over)
