An attractive Worcester porcelain ‘bute’ shape teacup & saucer, decorated with bands of hand painted puce coloured flowers against a black ground and a band of ‘vermicelli’ gilding.
Printed mark: ‘G GRAINGER. ROYAL PORCELAIN WORKS, WORCESTER’
Circa : 1830-40
Diameter of saucer : 5⅝” (14.3cm)
Condition: Good, no damage or restoration, just slight wear to gilding from use.
