Description
A fine quality and very decorative 18th century Bow porcelain candlestick figure of a girl, known as ‘The Dutch Dancer’, standing on a scroll moulded base raised on four feet, with an elaborate Tulip petal moulded sconce.
Painted ‘anchor’ mark and impressed ‘T’ and ‘To’ (Tebo) marks to base and sconce.
Date: circa 1760-65
Height : 10¾” (27.4cm)
Condition : Very good, tiny restoration to two of the bows on her bodice only. A few small losses to a few leaves & petals (see photos).
