18th century Staffordshire saltglazed stoneware teapot and a cover, globular body with ‘crabstock’ handle & spout, the cover with a ‘button’ flower knop, hand painted floral decoration in polychrome enamels.
* the lid is decorated in an identical palette but with a tiny landscape & cottage scene within a similar border. The lid is a perfect fit.

Length: 7¼” (18.5cm)
Condition: Small chips to the rim and minor restoration to the tip of the spout.
