A very scarce English pottery ‘nursery plate’ with a printed & hand coloured scene of an early road going steam engine pulling a carriage of passengers, with a relief moulded and hand coloured floral border.
Made for export to Germany.
Attributed to Thomas Fell.

Condition: Rim chips, surface wear from use. No restoration
