Early 19th century English porcelain model of a recumbent Griffin, decorated with a simulated bronze effect, on a shaped flat base decorated with gilding, a gilt & white candle sconce on it’s back, between the wings.
Date: c1810
Height : 4¼” (10.8cm)
Length: 5″ (12.7cm)
Condition : Old (scruffy) restoration to a chip at the back end of the base. Surface wear from handling. Original firing crack across centre of base.
