19th century English porcelain jug, decorated with scene of the horse drawn coach ‘Novelty’ from Longton & Tunstall, the reverse with a portrait of a coachman holding a whip, the handle & rim of the jug decorated with flowers & foliage with a gilt line rim. The decoration is hand painted with enamels over an outline print.
Inscribed ‘Richard Nicholls 1837‘ in gilt.

Condition: Very good, just a little wear to the gilding. No damage or restoration.
