Description
An unusual early 19th century English porcelain ‘boat shape’ inkstand with carrying handle, the outside with embossed ‘wicker’ effect, stylised flowers, leaves and a figure head wearing a helmet.
Date: circa 1810-20
Length : 9″ (23cm)
Condition : Some good restoration to a single crack to the base of the handle & a chip to the inkpot. Minor crazing & faint glaze cracks.
