Early Staffordshire pottery ‘Vicar & Moses’ Pulpit group.
Earthenware decorated with coloured glazes.
Ralph Wood Snr, Burslem.
Date: circa 1785
Height : 9½” (24cm)
Condition : Restoration to the back of the pulpit, vicar’s fingers, Moses’ hands, arm break at shoulder, chip to lip. (There is a manufacturing flaw to the Vicar’s right shoulder)
