Early Staffordshire Pottery Ram With Bocage, circa 1820

Description

Early 19th century Staffordshire pottery model of a recumbent ram, on a mound base with blue ribbon and with elaborate bocage.
Circa 1820
Height: 4¾” (12cm)
Condition: Chip, mostly inside the edge of the base with an associated crack up into the ram’s hindquarters, chips to three flowers and a few leaf tips. No restoration.
