A large and very decorative 19th century English earthenware Puzzle Jug with moulded ‘Sun’ faces and caryatid handle.
Pearlware decorated with overglaze enamel colours.
Staffordshire, circa 1830
Height : 11¾” (30cm)
Condition : Two nozzles missing, extended seam crack to base with asssociated large flake missing from underside of base. (see photos)
