A good quality late 18th century English pottery ‘Puzzle Jug’, with pierced rim and three ‘nozzles’ with secret air vents beneath.
Pearlware, decorated with hand painted stylised flowers and brown lines in typical ‘Pratt’ type high temperature underglaze colours.
Staffordshire or Yorkshire.

Condition : Just one ‘nozzle’ has been reattached, with an associated chip restored, there are two short hairlines to the rim and another on the footrim (see photos)
