Description

An attractive 18th century Chelsea porcelain saucer, decorated with hand painted moths and insects, in the style of the Meissen ‘shadow painter’
Red anchor (tiny, as it should be…) and straces of ‘stilt’ marks.
Date: c 1755
Diameter : 5″ (12.7cm)
Condition : Faint stress crack, crazing & light staining (underside) and surface wear from use.
