18th century Derby porcelain seated figure of a shepherd piper with his dog, on a raised, scroll moulded base with elaborate floral and leaf bocage.
Circa : 1770
Height : 8¼” (21cm)
Condition: The figure is in very good condition with just chips to feathers on his hat, the dog’s ears are also chipped. There is some old restoration to the scrolling on the right hand side of the base and quite a bit of reconstruction of the lower left hand side of the bocage where the candle sconce is missing (see photographs)
