18th century Derby (Chelsea-Derby period) small figure of a seated boy holding a bird, his gun leaning against the bocage and his dog lying on the scroll moulded base beside his feet.
Probably emblematic of Winter from a set of four seasons.
Circa : 1775
Height : 4¾” (12cm)
Condition: Minor restoration to the tips of some leaves, the end of the gun barrel and a chip at the side of the base.
