Description

An attractive early 19th century Derby porcelain figure of a male flautist, sitting on a gilded chair with a violin case, books & music beneath.
Incised model number ‘No 11’ and painted crown & crossed batons mark in red.
Circa: 1815-20
Height: 16.00cm (6.30 inches)
Condition: Very good, just very minor restoration to his right thumb and a lower section of the flute.  Surface wear to gilding from handling.
