Derby Plate With Unusual Fruit Decoration.

Description

An unusual 18th century Derby porcelain plate, finely painted with colourful fruit and a butterfly, within a brown line rim.
Possibly painted by George Complin.
Crown, crossed batons & ‘D’ mark in brown enamel.
Circa : 1785-90
Diameter : 5½” (21.5cm)
Condition: Very good, just minor surface wear from use. No restoration.
