18th century Derby porcelain figure of a woman holding a pheasant, this figure is one of a pair known as ‘The Italian farmers’
Patch marks to underside of base.
Circa : 1765-70
Height : 8¼” (21cm)
Condition: Pheasants head & neck replaced, old restoration to brim of her hat and left forefinger, overpainting to flaked enamel on the back of her bodice. Some chips & losses to leaves and flowers.
