18th century Derby porcelain figure of a man holding a bird, his gun leaning against the leaf & berry bocage and a dog lying at his side, standing on a scroll moulded base with turquoise enamel & gilding.
Probably emblematic of Winter.
Faint traces of ‘patch marks’ to underside of base.
Circa : 1765-70
Height : 6¾” (17cm)
Condition: Minor restoration to right forefinger, chipping to brim of hat and some leaf tips.
