The subject of today’s update is a fine C18th Derby Porcelain Large Figure of William Shakespeare.
A good example of this well known figure, modelled after the famous statue of William Shakespeare in Westminster Abbey’s Poets’ Corner, erected in 1740-41, a famous monument designed by William Kent and sculpted by Peter Scheemakers
