Description
Early 19th century Coalport porcelain miniature hexagonal jug and bowl, finely decorated with a gilt ‘fish scale’ pattern against a cobalt blue ground with hand painted polychrome flowers.
Date: Circa: 1820.
Height of jug : 2⅛” ( 5.50cm)
Diameter of bowl : 2⅝” (6.8cm)
Condition: Good, slight wear from handling and a few minute glaze chips, no restoration. (There is a firing chip to the rim of the bowl, totally original, glazed & gilded) Just some wear to gilding.
